Full hookups (exploring)
We’re exploring robust electrical service, potable water, and sewer at sites—scaled for larger RVs if the project moves ahead. Engineering and servicing would follow formal review, not this page.
Okanagan · Wood Lake
Wood Lake RV Oasis is a proposed project in early planning on one of the Okanagan’s quieter lakes. We’re exploring how a low-density, walkable lakeside community could fit the shoreline—nothing is final yet, and we welcome neighbours who want clear, occasional updates as ideas evolve.
The development
Wood Lake RV Oasis is a proposed lakeside community we’re currently exploring on the shores of Wood Lake—one of the Okanagan’s quieter bodies of water, loved for paddling, swimming, and long evenings. We’re thinking about low-density circulation, spacing that respects neighbours, and shoreline use that feels intentional—always subject to feedback and what the planning process allows.
We’re not selling anything here—just sharing direction so neighbours and interested community members can see what we’re considering and decide if they’d like updates along the way.
What we’re envisioning
The list below describes directions we’re considering for a lakeside RV-oriented community. Any of it could change as we learn more, hear from neighbours, and work through planning requirements.
We’re exploring robust electrical service, potable water, and sewer at sites—scaled for larger RVs if the project moves ahead. Engineering and servicing would follow formal review, not this page.
We’re imagining shoreline use that fits the lake—swimming, paddling, and quiet enjoyment—always subject to environmental rules and what regulators support.
Longer stays often need reliable connectivity. We’re exploring park-wide internet options that could support work-from-RV use—implementation would depend on partners and budget after any approvals.
Showers, washrooms, and laundry are on our “maybe” list for extended stays—design and scale would be decided with operators and authorities if the project proceeds.
Native plantings, shade, and low-glare lighting are directions we like—so the place still feels like the Okanagan. Plant palettes and setbacks would be refined with landscape and environmental input.
We’re exploring managed entry and clear visitor guidelines so arrivals stay calm for residents and guests—always balanced with emergency access and municipal requirements.
Lakeside vision
Alongside the lakeside community we’re exploring, we’re also considering a dedicated waterfront building with flexible commercial space. Uses could include dining, a spa or wellness offering, and short-term stays—think of it as a possible future gathering place steps from the lake, not a finalized tenant list.
Nothing here is promised yet: design, timing, and programming are subject to planning, partnerships, and market decisions. The rendering is conceptual—shared to show direction, not a built commitment.
No operators or tenants are confirmed. We’ll share more when plans solidify.
Artist’s conceptual rendering—subject to change.

Location
Tucked between Kelowna and Vernon, Wood Lake delivers the calm-water paddling and swimming you want—without the traffic of the region’s busiest beaches. Highway access keeps groceries and gear runs simple; ski hills and mountain trails are an easy day trip when the flakes fly.
Where we are
Wood Lake RV Oasis is in early planning. We’re exploring what a thoughtful lakeside community could look like on Wood Lake, listening to feedback, and refining ideas as we go. Nothing here is final—layouts, amenities, and timelines may change as the work progresses.

Wood Lake RV Oasis is in early planning. We’re refining a vision for a thoughtful lakeside community, gathering input, and working through the steps that come before anything can be marketed or built. What you see on this site is directional and may change.
The project is being explored on Wood Lake in British Columbia’s Okanagan—between Kelowna and Vernon, with the regional amenities and highway access that come with that corridor. The conceptual lot plan on this page illustrates layout ideas; exact boundaries and addressing are part of formal applications when they’re filed.
We’re imagining a low-density, walkable lakeside setting with RV-oriented use, shared outdoor space, and respect for neighbours and the shoreline. A possible waterfront hub (see the rendering section) is separate from the RV community concept and is equally exploratory—nothing is final until planning and partnerships allow it.
Meaningful engagement matters to us. As the process moves forward, there will be opportunities that align with municipal requirements and good practice—open houses, notifications, or other forums depending on what regulators ask for. Sign up for updates and we’ll share meeting notices when they’re scheduled.
No. It’s a proposed conceptual layout to help neighbours visualize what we’re exploring. Circulation, site count, setbacks, and amenities can all change with engineering, environmental feedback, and planning conditions.
Many lakeside households include pets, and we’re assuming responsible ownership, leash rules where they apply, and respect for neighbours. Any future program would spell out expectations clearly—likely aligned with insurance and community standards if the project proceeds.

We’ll share project updates as the proposal develops—meeting notices when they’re scheduled, refinements to the vision, and other information that helps neighbours follow along. We typically reply within one business day, often sooner.
